What is alternative medicine?
We need to understand, first and foremost, that the only reason that natures best alternative medicine is called alternative because it is not in the mainstream. What is mainstream are medicines manufactured by large pharmaceutical corporations. Nature’s best alternative medicines are those that are naturally found or immediately derived from nature. Most of these medicines grow on the ground.
Nature gives us a lot of health benefits, not just food but medicines as well. Knowledge of how the human body works are part of how nature heals our bodies.
There are two ways in which we can benefit from nature’s best alternative medicine. First is through products that nature produces. Secondly, through procedures that are natural, e.g., acupuncture; though these do not fall under the category of medicines.

Rosemary helps reduce carcinogens in your system. It contains antioxidants that help destroy carcinogenic substances in your body.
Ginger helps alleviate symptoms of stomach upset. As a brew, it not only refreshes and eases stomach discomforts, it may also be used to relieve the throat of itchiness and help loosen phlegm. Ginger has anti-inflammatory properties.
Garlic, practitioners of alternative medicine claim, contains antibiotics that kill disease-causing organisms. Taken raw orally, it is also said to help lower high blood pressure during an acute episode. It can also lower the risk of acquiring cancer. Applied on wounds, garlic prevents the growth of bacteria.
Despite anecdotal references to the effectiveness of nature’s best alternative medicines, it is advisable to consult a physician when symptoms of disease persist.
